Eventful weekend

The past weekend has been an eventful one, with the SSA party happening with a huge bang on Fri night. This semester, we have seen 2 successful, recognised parties that our socials have put the effort in making these happen. Sometimes, I felt much more comfortable being in the SSA Committee as compared to being in COMPEC. One reason maybe due to the differences in power and responsibility and with greater responsibility brings about greater stress. Another reason I think its the lack of respect from certain people in COMPEC. Respect doesnt seem to be present in the committee and committee members arent that bonded and committed as compared to people in the SSA committee. COMPEC is run on a system similar to the one in Singapore and ironically, SSA doesn't although, everyone in the committee, is from Singapore. Its sad when people refuse to let go of power and yet unwilling to take responsbility that comes along with the power. I understand there is a limit on the amount of transparency on everything, but at least have the decency to allow the one taking the responsibility to be in the loop.

Anyway, back to the topic of SSA @ Equilibrium, the party was great, with good company, good music, good venue, etc. Many people turned up including those friends I hold dear to my heart. Lots of drinks, lots of photos, lots of dancing and lots of care and concern for those drunk. Thanks Ting, Kunrui, KL, Ian for taking care of me and Ting for putting up with my verbal abuse. Heehee

Finished watching Spiderman 3 today. I think it was pretty good, except for some parts, where the pace got too slow to my liking. Was pretty touched at the part where Spiddy's best friend died for him. Too idealistic though. Enough of Sipderman 3. In case Kengloon decides to be a fan of my blog and accidentally read the plot. :P
